i've got to give it another two weeks before they re-assess me ... i know this is a slow process and hope that i see some results soon.

i'll keep you posted and thanks for you concern,

Hello Suzanne.

Sorry to hear that your bloods are not any better. However it is still early days.

Can they give you a steriod injection I had one last Friday and 1 week on
I am feeling much 'free er' . I am aware that this is just a bridge gap though

hi Rose,

when i went for an emergency appointment in September they did give me a Steroid injection but it didn't work this time ... Rheumy Nurse said this can happen sometimes.

so now i have the Steroid in my system still so still waiting to get a true blood reading after about 6 weeks on the upped dose to 20mg Methotrexate.

glad you are feeling better while you are waiting,

Suzanne x

Hi Suzanne

It certainly sounds as though the Methotrexate needs an additional drug adding to kick start it. Methotrexate often gets a better result when used in combination with another drug. In the meantime hope you are keeping dosed up on pain killers!

Thinking of you Suzanne
